The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has launched a revolutionary digital stamp and seal system on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the NBA House in Abuja. This innovative solution, powered by blockchain technology, aims to protect lawyers’ jobs and enhance public trust in legal documents.
The NBA Digital Stamp and Seal is integrated with Microsoft Word (2017 Edition and above) for seamless affixing of digital stamps. The system ensures unique, tamper-proof, and verifiable stamps, bolstering the authenticity of legal documents.
Additionally, the NBA has developed a user-friendly e-commerce portal for convenient digital stamp purchases and a verification app (available on Android and iOS) for the public to verify document authenticity via smartphone scanning.
