A devastating incident has occurred in Ugbaike village, Igbo-Eze North LGA, Enugu State, where a young man, Chikwado Eze, met his untimely death in a botched fortification ritual.
According to reports, Chikwado’s visa to abriad had come out, and he returned to his village to inform his father. However, his father suggested they consult a native doctor, Onuwa, for fortification to ensure Chikwado’s success abroad.
Tragically, the native doctor instructed that Chikwado be buried alive for 1 hour and 30 minutes, promising that he would be exhumed and revitalized.
Heartbreakingly, when they dug him up after the stipulated time, Chikwado was already dead.
The police promptly arrested Chikwado’s father, Uwakwe, and the native doctor, Onuwa, in connection with this horrific incident.
